GREENLAND: ULTIMA THULE

The last borderland. The border with everything that represents the known world. Ultima Thule, the ancient Latin name for the most distant lands, is now a reality.

An incredible 8-day journey that will lead us to discover a legendary land, rich in history and millenary traditions that will help us to leave our “comfort zone”, to push ourselves further and further towards our limits.

Icebergs over 80 meters high, cetaceans and nature without are waiting for us!

NATURE IN ITS PURE STATE

Greenland is the largest island in the world. Rich in history and traditions. However, 85% of its territory is covered by ice. The IceCap. To cross Greenland from the East to the West coast, we have to take a flight of about 2.5 hours. It is like taking a dip in the past, where even time has stopped to admire this unprecedented territory.

Wildlife is practically around every corner. Common seals, humpback whales, Greenland whales and numerous seabirds (including puffins) await us for an 8-day journey that will last a blink of an eye.

Our borderland expedition will start in Ilulissat, the tourist capital of Greenland, but also the capital of the Icebergs adrift in Disko Bay. During our stay we will not be able to avoid admiring them, even from the window of our hotel room.

If you are looking for pure nature, silence, the sound of the sea with its waves, the wind with its gusts and you are looking for a break from everyday life, this is the place for you.

Breathtaking settings, very high icebergs (some even more than 100 meters) and a land still little exploited by tourism.

Greenland is a land in need of adaptation. That of the traveler who is about to visit it. Underestimating this land means living a turbulent experience. Getting prepared both physically and, especially mentally, becomes important to fully enjoy this experience.
